Day 2 (Saturday 9 August 2025) Around and about in Scarborough

We awoke early and the sun was shining so after breakfast we all went for a walk along the railway line. After that C, S, J and E went to the Stitching Lady sewing shop (note for future - a disc is needed to park in the town) and the G and Chris went to a couple of model shops.

This afternoon we went to the north side as James, Graeme, Sarah, Chris and Andrew went to the Naval Battle in Peasholm Park whilst Catherine and Elizabeth took the dogs for a walk and to the Watermark Cafe. We were too late to go on the miniature railway so we walked along the front. It was high tide and J had fun in the sea. We then came home for a BBQ and a rest.
