We started the day in the sunshine with breakfast at the Watermark. We then went onto the beach. The tide was well out and dogs are allowed on the beach from the Sands complex towards the Castle.
We all enjoyed it, but especially Bowie and James who were in and out of the sea. Bowie chased
about on the beach whilst Pepper was a bit more sedate, but enjoyed it
nevertheless. James was even brave enough lie down in the water.
We then went on the North Bay Railway to Scalby Mills. We had a quick drink in
the Scalby Mills pub and then got the train back to Northstead Manor Gardens.
It was then a quiet afternoon in the house followed by fish and chips for
tea.
