Elizabeth had arranged to meet up with old schoolfriend Lesley
and her partner Tony who came to meet us at the house.
Whilst we waited for them to arrive James had some time at
the play area. Graeme, Elizabeth, Lesley, Tony and Bowie walked along the
clifftop to Scalby Mills where they met up with Catherine and James for a drink
before having a walk and some fun on the beach.
In the afternoon Elizabeth and James went to the naval
battle in Peasholm Park and had a walk on Peasholm Island.
In the evening the young ones enjoyed an Indian takeaway
whilst the oldies went to the Stephen Joseph theatre to see Noises Off
which they'd heard was excellent and hilarious. Unfortunately, they didn't find
it so.
At the play area back at Scalby Lodge ....
